Indore: Members of Sikh community in the city are enraged over attack on former IG, Surjeet Singh and his son. Showing their protest, the community members went to the IG office and submitted a memorandum demanding action against the attackers. Shri Guru Singh Sabha Indores and Sikh Community representatives reached the IG office in large number on Tuesday. They submitted a memo to IG Vipin Maheshwari, and demanded arrest of the attackers.
They also demanded action against those policeman who did not show promptness when they were informed of the incident. The IG assured the representatives of taking stern action against the accused.
Shri Gurusingh Sabha General Secretary Jasbir Singh Gandhi and vicepresident Danveer Singh Chhabra said that the former IG was renowned across the country for law and order and this incident has enraged the community members.
